Practicing the Way Course

Practicing the Way Course

For the month of January, we will be considering how to form habits that lead us to the heart of God.

We will be looking at practices (habits) that help us to experience God in our daily life.

Do you wish to learn more about this?  Practicing the Way is an 8 session primer on spiritual formation. It is a place to start.  I invite you to check it out.

If there is a group of us that is interested, perhaps we can take this course together.

If you're interested, shoot me an email and I'll be in touch.

Be A Berean

Sabbath

This weekend will be the last of our four week series "Habits That Lead to the Heart of God." I invite you to read Exodus 20:8-11 and Deuteronomy 5:12-15.

Additionally, I invite you to read Genesis 1 - 3.

Are you a Sabbath keeper? Does the idea of Sabbath keeping feel too ancient, too legalistic?

I might suggest that Sabbath rest is a gift from God.

Have you noticed that one of the most common things we share with each other is how busy we are? We live in a culture obsessed with busyness.

How might we cease from our work? How might we enjoy God in Sabbath rest?

Looking forward to sharing with you on Sunday.

Blessings,

Jeremy
