No matter who you are, or what background, you’ll be welcome here. We hope that you feel at home, feel welcome, but most of all that you experience Jesus in a real way. Every Sunday looks a little different than the one before because we believe God has something special in mind for us each time we gather. We can’t wait to meet you on Sunday!
When coming to Transformation Church for the first time you may have some questions...
When does it start?
Come a little early to get coffee (10:30 am) and then join us at 11am for the beginning of service.
Where do I park?
At this time we only have street parking anywhere near the building. (Please be aware of the winter odd/even day parking regulations.)
What do I wear?
There are no dress codes at Transformation Church. Come as you are and feel comfortable; we have no expectations on you.
What about my kids?
We have a great kids program and nursery Sunday mornings. The nusery is for kids 0-5 yrs and the kids program for those 6-13 yrs. The kids will enjoy playing some light hearted games with each other in the kids area while you get a pre-service coffee. Once everything begins, the kids will come upstairs for the first songs and announcements and then head downstairs once dismissed. They can look forward to some fun games and some great biblical teaching.
Where's the coffee?
Join us in our cafe in the hall before and after the service for coffee and snacks.
What is it like?
Our service typical runs in between 75-90 mins. The service starts at 11 upstairs with a greeting and a song. Don’t worry you can bring your coffee too. Then we’ll have announcements and the kids will be able to go downstairs for their program. After the announcements we will have more songs and pray for the city of Thunder Bay. From there we listen to a time of teaching from the word of God where we dig deep into the teachings of Scripture; we hope this is both challenging and transformative. This is all to help you get a glimpse of a man who we all love: Jesus. After the teaching we respond by singing another song or two in worship to God.
After the service we always encourage everyone to stick around, top off their coffees and enjoy some homemade snacks. This is one of our favorite times because we can really hang out and get to know each other in our cozy cafe.
