Hey TC Family,

This week is a full newsletter. Be sure to peruse through this email so you don't miss any of the upcoming events. 

I want to encourage you to prayerfully consider bringing a friend with you to church this weekend. This Sunday, we are going to finish our series: God Is____ with God is Love. The topic of God's love is central to the gospel and the Christian faith. My hope and prayer is that God will reveal Himself to us in a deeper way this weekend as we gather to worship Him and study His Word. 

I hope to see you tonight at the fundraiser cafe for the Liberty Project (see below). 

Also, this Sunday, after our service, there will be a meeting for members. The board has a proposal we need to vote on. Everyone is welcome to join the meeting, but only members can vote. If you are curious about church business, feel free to join; we will endeavour to be short and sweet!

Join us for a night of prayer and worship on Sunday, November 5, at 7 p.m. Our prayer focus will be to pray for the persecuted churches around the world, and we will spend an extended time singing worship songs to our Lord.

Furthermore, she will be discussing potential collaborations with the TC board to expand our outreach and impact.

Is there a more important biblical theme than the theme of the love of God? Scripture is the story of a Holy God and the people He created. His people rejected Him and, therefore, came under a curse. Ever since that day, God has been working to restore His people back to relationship with Himself. 

Read John 10:1-18. In this passage of Scripture, Jesus describes Himself as the good shepherd who loves His sheep, so much so that He lays His life down for His sheep. This is the greatest act of love that has ever been done. 

As you read this passage, do you have any observations? When Jesus says, "All who came before me were thieves and robbers," what do you think he meant? Who do you think He is referring to? And what does it mean that Jesus is our shepherd? 

Ponder these questions prayerfully and ask the Lord to speak to you through His Word.
